In a series of musical interventions for ITINERANT INTERLUDE #66, Axel Dörner provided the perfect musical pendant for Sven Johne’s ANOMALIES OF THE EARLY 21ST CENTURY: SOME CASE STUDIES, translating into sound his own likewise particularly distinctive commentary on our times, in improvisations that reveal a kindred sensibility for humor and subversiveness. The number of this iteration of ITINERANT INTERLUDES refers to the 66 short stories encapsulated in Johne’s installation as SOME CASE STUDIES, which were witness to an ephemeral encounter with Dörner’s performance.
