23. November 2023. Soprano Kinga Ötvös drew inspiration from MANAGEABLE MATTER to explore gravity, grace and gesture as embodied in Emma Howes’ variations of glass artichoke hearts and graphic scores – testing the limits of a voice that ranges from bel canto to cyborg punk.
Kinga Ötvös is a multidisciplinary artist active in music, theater, and performance art. They were a member of the Hungarian State Theater of Cluj-Napoca and collaborated with Látókép Ensemble and Horváth Csaba Company in Budapest. Kinga recently released their album Fluid Oratorio and was part of the Athens Biennale as a live sound designer. They are one of the founders and artistic directors of “Interfonic” Postnational Theater.
